About This Dog

Bexley's ideal home

Meet Bexley, an adorable 6-year-old Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier mix. Bexley is a friendly and loving companion who has previously lived with cats and would happily do so again with proper introductions. He enjoys the company of other dogs and can live with them after successful meet and greets at our centre. Bexley is quite playful and loves interacting with other dogs during outings. Bexley is great with children aged 8 and up, as long as they understand his need for personal space. He is not a fan of long walks and can be hesitant about his harness, support on this will be given at the centre.

Could you be Bexley's perfect match?

Bexley thrives best in a home where someone is around most of the time, as he doesn’t enjoy being left alone and can become vocal. He is house-trained and knows basic commands like “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” and “wait.” Bexley is comfortable with car travel, making him a great travel buddy. While Bexley would love a home with a garden to sunbathe in, he can adapt to life without one as long as he has regular access to outdoor areas for bathroom breaks and exercise.
Currently part of our home stay scheme, Bexley is still with his owner while we search for a new home due to the owner's health reasons. Bexley is eagerly waiting for a loving family to welcome him into their lives!
