Poppy's ideal home
1-year-old Poppy is a Yorkshire Terrier who is now looking for her special place to call home and ready to live his happiest life. This adorable girl can live in a home with children 14+ and can live with another dog (pending a successful dog mix here at the centre). Poppy is an extremely sweet, lovely girl who loves human company and spending her hours being cuddled. She is on short term medication due to her lack of confidence. Her behaviour shows she has had a sheltered life up to know and does not like being outside in the big wide world as it is all so scary.
Could you be Poppy's perfect match?
This super girl would benefit from walking friends to give her added confidence; Poppy is happy being in the company of small dogs but fears larger breeds. Poppy is happier being inside the home so she will need her new family to be patient and understanding with her. Poppy can be left for small periods of time and will sleep and settle in her crate when left alone. Her new adopters will need to be prepared to visit the centre for multiple visits. Any training needs will be discussed with our Training Behaviour team who are on hand for guidance with Poppy's adoption.
