About This Dog for Adoption
Raven's ideal home
Meet lovely Raven, a gorgeous 3-year-old Frenchie x Yorkie looking for her forever home. Raven must live with another dog, as she really comes out of her shell around her canine friends and gains lots of confidence from them. She may be able to live with older, quiet children who understand she needs space and time to build trust, as she can be a little nervous when meeting new people initially.
Raven is a sweet and affectionate girl once she knows you, and she absolutely loves a fuss! She has a playful side that really shines through when she’s feeling comfortable, and she enjoys interacting and having fun with those she trusts. Raven loves her walks and is very sniffy, taking in all the sights and smells around her. She can pull a little on the lead when excited, so she will benefit from some gentle guidance to help her build good lead manners.
Raven is a lovely little dog who would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can continue to grow in confidence. With the support of another dog and a kind family, she will truly blossom into a wonderful companion.
Could you be Raven's perfect match?
Raven is a gentle girl with lots of potential, but she can be nervous when first meeting new people, so she will need adopters who are patient and happy to let her come to them in her own time. Once she feels safe, she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate and playful personality.
Raven has never been left alone before, so any time on her own will need to be built up gradually to help her feel comfortable and secure. She is currently doing really well in a home environment, where she has been described as a joy to have. She’s also fully toilet trained, enjoys her walks, and is not easily fazed when out and about.
She travels well and is happy being handled by people she knows, including grooming and cuddles. Raven reads and matches other dogs well and will really benefit from having a confident dog companion in the home to help guide her.
Raven just needs a little extra time, patience, and understanding when settling into new environments, but with the right home, she will make a truly loving and rewarding companion. We can’t wait to see her find the home she deserves!
