Pippa's ideal home
Pippa is a sweet 13-year-old Yorkie who is looking for a loving home to enjoy her golden years. She is quite sprightly for her age and still enjoys a short run around in our enclosed paddocks. Pippa can do calm lead walks with other dogs at a distance, but doesn't love them in her space and can sometimes react to dogs getting too close to her. For this reason, she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Similarly she can live with older secondary school aged children who know when to respect her space. Once Pippa is comfortable with you she likes to lick your hands to show her affection. After she has settled into the home, Pippa could be left for up to 4 hours, as she enjoys a snooze in a soft, cosy bed.

Pippa has loads of personality and loves having all the attention on her. However, she is looking for a quieter home where she can relax and cuddle up on the sofa with her favourite people. She enjoys slow, sniffy walks and exploring new areas - she is occasionally spooked by loud noises, so quieter areas would be ideal. As an older girl with a few aches and pains, Pippa can be a bit worried by formal vet handling, and is sometimes muzzled as a precaution, but for general checks she happily runs about the vet suite, looking for new sniffs! Pippa may take a little bit of time to be confident with you, but once she knows you she just loves cuddles and fusses. This sweet girl deserves princess treatment in her older years and we can't wait for her to find her forever home.
