Teddy's ideal home

Teddy will need his new family to come and visit him a few times to build a bond and learn all about his ongoing training. He is also looking for a hands off approach while he settles in, and is looking for a very understanding adult only home where he can be given lots of time and space to settle. He gets quite overwhelmed around intense handling and grooming and is currently learning how to wear a muzzle in return for a tasty treat! Teddy has previously shown resource guarding behaviour so will need a new home where this behaviour can be managed, and is undergoing crate training to help with this! Teddy is looking for a home as the only dog, but does enjoy going for walks with calm doggy friends. Teddy will need his own garden to zoom around in without the pressure of being handled. Potential owners need to live within 1 hour of the centre.

Teddy is an excitable little guy who loves his food and training! Once he builds a bond with people he does enjoy having a brief fuss, but his new family will need to take things slowly with him and not overwhelm him with too much handling. Although he’s small Teddy is still an active boy and is looking for a home where he can go out on lots of walks and hopefully make some walking friends! Teddy has been in a home before; he was good to be left for short periods and was housetrained though this may need refreshing in his new home. Teddy is such a sweet little guy who has bags of potential in the right environment.
