Pepe's ideal home
Pepe is a timid little 4 year old Yorkshire Terrier. He came into us due to his owner's ill health and is missing his home comforts. He struggles when there's lots going on and is better suited to a nice quiet life in an adult only home. He's a sweet boy but just needs a little bit more time to come out of his shell and get his bearings. Pepe will need to be the only pet in the home but can have doggy friends out and about, he will need continued work on his socialisation. He can be left a few hours at a time and walks well on lead but may need some help to be reminded of his toilet training. He can be a worried boy in the vets and being handled by people he doesn't know so needs some work building his confidence around these things. Once he finds his feet, we're sure he will make a loving little companion.
Could you be Pepe's perfect match?
Pepe would love owners who understand his needs and allow him to take the time he needs to come out of himself a little more. Pepe is used to a single person household and would find a busier homes overwhelming. He will need multiple visits here at our centre to build up a relationship with his potential new family, any home must be willing to make multiple trips to our centre to get to know him. Due to this, we feel a home within 90 minutes of the centre would be the best fit for him so we are able to help him settle in.
