Bentley's ideal home

Bentley is a five year old Yorkshire Terrier with a sensitive soul and a big heart. He requires patience, understanding, and a little time to get to know you. Once you're in his inner circle, you'll find a loyal and affectionate companion. Understanding body language is key when living with Bentley as he’s shown aggression in the past when being over handled or put into situations where he doesn’t feel comfortable. Once he knows you, Bentley is affectionate, cheeky and loves a good scratch, just ask his favourite canine carer Sara! Bentley has been with us for a while now and we know the paw-fect home for him: Bentley would need to live with an adult only family who are happy to make multiple meets at the centre as Bentley is on an introduction plan, have owners who are experienced with training or are happy to work with our training team before and after Bentley goes home and he’ll need to live with in a quiet home but he loves going out for walks and is quite an active dog, he could live with other dogs as long as they understand his little quirks and pending a successful dog mix here at the centre.

One of Bentley's greatest joys is being in the company of other dogs. He's a social pup who finds comfort and joy in canine companionship. He'd be a perfect addition to a household with other dogs! Bentley enjoys water, he likes a paddle or a swim but he’s not a fan of going in the car so would like his aquatic adventures near to home. Bentley is very clever, he loves training and picks up things easily as he’ll do anything for a tasty treat (or two) and he’s very affectionate once he knows you, he’ll show you his loving side! Bentley is a unique and charming pup who, with the right home and a loving family willing to give him the time and space he needs, will make a wonderful and loyal companion. If you're looking for a furry friend who adores other dogs, relishes good food, and appreciates having his own space, Bentley could be the perfect addition to your home.
