About This Dog for Adoption

Yumi's ideal home

This beautiful girl is Yumi! After coming to us through no fault of her own, she is super excited to find her forever home! Yumi is looking for a quieter home with older children aged 16+. She prefers to be the only dog in the home so she can enjoy all the attention to herself! Yumi can be slightly unsure when greeting new people so we feel she will need a couple of meets here at the rehoming centre before going home with her new family. Any potential adopters will need to be confident guiding Yumi and helping building her confidence in the home. She can be a tad overwhelmed by other dogs at times so will be better suited to quieter walking areas while she settles in. Yumi will need company during the day to begin with, but leaving time could be built gradually once more comfortable in her new home.

Could you be Yumi's perfect match?

Yumi is an adorable 2-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. Despite her shy nature, once given the time to get to know you Yumi is a bubbly, affectionate girl who loves cuddles! She would enjoy a safe garden space where she can play her favourite game, fetch! Don't let size fool you, Yumi is an energetic girl who loves daily sniffy walks and will jump into the car for adventures further afield. She will thrive in an active home where long walks and enrichment games will be part of her daily routine! If you think you have space on your sofa for this gorgeous girl, follow the steps below to submit an application and don't forget to "favourite" Yumi!
