About This Dog for Adoption

Holly's ideal home

Holly is looking for a calm and relaxed home with minimal visitors to begin with, with adopters who will take her on sniffy strolls and will give her space to settle in and get comfortable. She can be a little worried and appeasing when meeting people so could live with secondary school aged children who will play with her gently and will give her space to rest when needed. Holly can be a little hesitant with other dogs, she is looking to be the only pet in the home so she can enjoy all of her adopter’s attention to herself. She would be happy with calm and polite walking buddies who will give her space to explore. Holly has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, but she can get distracted quite easily, so any training will need to be in short, sweet sessions with the help of a tasty treat - her favourite is meaty paste! She will need access to a private, secure garden where she can potter around at her leisure. Holly can get a little worried being left alone initially, but will soon settle down, so she could be left for up to 1-2 hours, this would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Holly is on daily medication and will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
