About This Dog

Patsy's ideal home

Patsy, a sweet 12-year-old lady, and Bubbles, aged 8 years and 7 months, are a gentle and friendly pair looking for a loving retirement home together. These lovely ladies are currently enjoying their time in one of our wonderful foster homes and are doing really well. Patsy is the more confident of the two and loves meeting new people, enjoying human company, fuss and cuddles. She also enjoys playing with her toys. Bubbles can be a little wary initially and takes lots of confidence from her best friend Patsy. Having both lived a sheltered life, new experiences can sometimes feel overwhelming, so Bubbles will need a patient and understanding home that is happy to go at her pace. She will need plenty of gentle confidence-building and reassurance, and prospective adopters will need to visit the girls multiple times before they are ready to go home.

Could you be Patsy's perfect match?

Patsy and Bubbles are low-energy ladies looking for a calm and peaceful retirement home where they can enjoy life together. They cannot live with cats, dogs or small furries, but they could potentially live with older secondary-aged children who understand when to give them space. They cannot be left alone initially, and any time spent alone will need to be introduced gradually and built up at their own pace. They will also need ongoing support with their housetraining, so access to a secure outdoor space would be highly beneficial. In return for patience, understanding and lots of love, these two lovely ladies have the potential to make wonderful companions. Their bond is very important to them, and we are looking for a special home that will give Patsy and Bubbles the time, security and peaceful retirement they deserve. All medical will be discussed in full with any potential adopters.

Hello, good morning. Due to a lack of time and the fact that I had a tumor, I am finding it difficult to care for my two Yorkshire Terriers—a female and a male, aged 9 and 5. They are wonderful dogs. I don't have anyone here to help me right now, but I also don't want to hand them over to just anyone. What is the process for someone to adopt them?
