About This Dog for Adoption

Rex's ideal home

Rex is a handsome 3 year old Terrier cross who is looking for his new forever home. Rex must be the only pet in the home. He can be worried by larger and unfamiliar dogs but with slow introductions, he may make friends with the right dog for walks. His new owners must be prepared to keep him on the lead in public to ensure his safety and comfort, as well as help him settle into his routine with some additional basic training. Rex requires an adult only household. He can be destructive and protective of his toys. If you are someone who can provide a calm and structured environment, Rex will thrive.

Could you be Rex's perfect match?

Rex is a happy and inquisitive Terrier who loves to explore new environments and sniff around on his walks. Although he may bark when meeting someone new, Rex quickly warms up and has been friendly with staff at the centre. He loves sitting on his human's lap and enjoys a nice brush, though he is not a fan of having his nails clipped! Rex is housetrained, travels quietly in the car once helped in, and is relaxed around traffic. This lively boy adores tasty treats and snuggling on the sofa with his cosy blanket. Once settled, he is content to be left alone with a chew for a couple of hours, making him a loyal and adaptable companion for the right person.
