Bertie's ideal home
Bertie is a loving, affectionate boy who thrives on human companionship. He is currently living off site in a foster home where he is housetrained and travels well in the car. Bertie loves being with his favourite people and is always at his happiest when he's sat having fuss from his carers or snoozing by their side.
He can find being left alone difficult initially, so he’ll need a home where this can be built up gradually. Bertie would suit a calm household with children aged 16 years and over who understand how to give him space when needed. He can get a little overwhelmed at times so his new family will need to feel confident in learning to read his body language.
Bertie will need to be the only pet in his forever home whilst we continue to assess his dog interactions and in true terrier style, likes to make his voice known when out and about on his walkies.

Bertie is a sweet lad who loves people, he has so much love to give and we know his will blossom in a calm and quiet home. Bertie does have some ongoing medical needs, our team here at the centre would be happy to discuss his needs with any potential adopters.
