Flo is a tiny 5 year old Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality! She’s looking for someone who understands that small dogs can have huge hearts and strong characters. You’ll need to be patient and gentle, as Flo can feel worried when people approach her too quickly. If you’re calm, kind, and happy to give her time to settle, you’ll be her favourite person in no time. Flo loves cuddles with her humans, so if you enjoy snuggles and companionship, you’re on the right track. She’s fully housetrained after a settling in period and would love a home where she can feel safe and loved.
Flo enjoys her walks and likes to explore, but she’s not a fan of frequent car travel, occasional trips are fine. She’s playful and loves small squeaky toys, and when she feels secure, she’ll surprise you with her puppy like excitement! If you’re looking for a loyal little friend who thrives in a calm, loving environment, Flo could be the perfect match.

Flo is currently settled in a foster home. She’s independent yet affectionate, and she’ll happily share your bed if you let her (though she’s learning to use her own bed too!). She’s best suited to a home where people understand her need for space at first and can offer gentle reassurance. Flo would like to be the only dog in the home but could enjoy walks with calm, smaller dogs. She would also be fine with understanding children aged 12 and over. Flo does have ongoing medical issues, this can be discussed in more detail with potential adopters. If you’re ready for a sweet, spirited little dog who loves cuddles, play, and being part of your world, Flo might just be the one for you.
