About This Dog for Adoption

Milo's ideal home

Milo is a beautiful Yorkie/Bichon Frise who is looking to jump back into home life. He is an excitable lad who is always super happy to see you. He is super friendly and wants to say hello to everyone! Milo can be a little intense for some dogs, but he is friendly and could potentially live with a calm dog in the home pending successful meet in the center. Milo would be looking for a home where children are 8yrs+ and confident with dogs that can jump up. Milo is a big fan of his toys; his favourite type being a squeaky toy.

Could you be Milo's perfect match?

Milo is a handsome boy who is excited to be perched on a sofa with his people. He may need some support being left on his own initially but this can be built up to 4 hours once he is settled. Milo loves to get out for a long sniffy walk, taking in all the sights and smells - he can be a little bit demanding when he decides he wants to get out and can be a bit bouncy. Milo can be a bit picky with his food - he believes he deserves the top of the range steaks - but as long as you trick him into thinking it's the most exciting thing, he will eat it with no issues. Milo would love an active family that can keep him busy and give him all the sniffy walks his heart desires.

Yorkie Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Yorkshire Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Yorkie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
