About This Dog for Adoption

Rex's ideal home

Rex is a lovely boy who came to us though no fault of his own. He does have a nervous side, so he is looking for a home with adults only, who will work closely with our behaviour team to build his confidence. He could potentially live with another calm dog of a similar size, depending on a successful dog introduction here at the centre. Time alone will need to be built up slowly, as we don’t have much history on him and are unsure whether he is OK with it. He is looking for a home with a private, secure garden, where he can build his confidence.

Could you be Rex's perfect match?

Rex is a sensitive little guy, who is bursting with personality once he knows you. He can be fearful when first meeting people but, after a little time and bonding, he will love spending time with you. He is nervous in the vets, but the training team are doing well helping him with his confidence with handling. He really enjoys toys and treats, so this will be a great help with training. In the right home Rex will make a lovely companion.

  • 5 Years Old

Winston's ideal home Winston is a sensitive 5-year-old who finds meeting new people a little worrying and is much less brave than his pal Diablo. He is shy and less confident when meeting other dogs, often taking his cues from Diablo for reassurance. Winston enjoys playing with toys and going for walks, but in stressful or unfamiliar situations he may hang back and need time
