About This Dog for Adoption

Mabel's ideal home

Marcel and Mabel are a pair of sweethearts who can live with sensible children aged 14 and over. As they can be worried by traffic they would prefer a home that has access to quiet walks away from a main road and a private secure garden where they can relax and stretch their legs as Marcel will need to be kept on a lead whilst out on walks. They will need to be the only dogs in the home but can live with small furries/birds if kept separate. This sweet pair are just looking for a loving family who can help build up their confidence once in their forever home.

Could you be Mabel's perfect match?

Ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce to you our very own M&M duo - you are going to ‘lose yourself’ when you meet our superstars – Marcel and Mabel! This tiny, terrific duo are a 2-year-old and 1-year-old pair of Yorkie crosses and they are ready to tag team their way into your hearts. Both of these special pooches can be quite nervous initially but they love affection from their people and they love to play with each other as they gain a lot of confidence when they are in the other ones company. These funny little fur babies will make the best addition to your family.

Yorkie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Yorkshire Terrier.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Yorkie Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
